Kristina Priceman is a Chicago-based violinist known for her melodic integrity and uncanny ability to complement a song.
Music has been a constant in my life. Being the youngest in the family, I was dragged to everyone’s music lessons, recitals, and often sat quietly next to my mom while she would help the boys practice. Never forced, I chose to play the violin at age four and it’s been a part of my life ever since. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Violin Performance a few years ago and for the past nine years, have been actively pursuing my music career, performing across North America, Europe, and Asia. I have developed my musical style through exploring classical, Americana, blues, pop, rock, folk, and anything else that’s been thrown my way. I, like many musicians, have my hand in many different sides of the music business--performing, recording, teaching, and trying to master the art of promotion (emphasis on trying).
You can find me playing or recording with a variety of bands and artists in the midwest, with my latest project being with Iowa-native songwriter Dick Prall in our new band Dickie. We released our first (self-titled) album in August and will be playing shows to support it in the months to come.
I appreciate you taking the time to stop by my page, which I plan to keep updated with new musical happenings. Thanks for your support and I hope we can meet somewhere down the road.
