Visual Artist/Paintings/Drawings
What a wild year!
This year for me was not insanely productive, however I was able to create some new pieces and participate in a couple of shows at Morpho Gallery for their "15th Annual Emerging Artists Exhibition" in the Spring and at Eat Paint Studio for their Community Window Display this December.
Back in February, I was able to take a class at Lillstreet Art Center in Ravenswood that focused on Intuitive Painting. This class helped me to experience new ways of approaching painting and paint application by going more abstract and straying away from representational art. I had a great time being back in a studio class setting and learning different techniques.
Additionally, I added to my inventory at Paoli Road Mercantile in Paoli, Wisconsin with my work "Rainy Night in Houston" and "After Work Commute." Both pieces are currently on display and available for purchase at the gallery. You may view these pieces (and my full portfolio) on my website by clicking here :-)
Hopefully 2020 will bring new opportunities to display my work and expand my portfolio. I plan to work hard to create a larger body of work with a mix of acrylic paintings and charcoal drawings. Look out for new pieces soon!

It's been quite a long time since my last update, however, I've found myself with some extra time of course during this quarantine. I've set up my studio, equipped with a studio cat, and have gotten to work on a couple of new pieces. I'm currently intersted in trying out more nighttime city scapes.
Check out my website for all recent work.
Here's a sample of some of my work. You can check out more on my portfolio website www.carolinewalser.com, but to get exclusive fan-only behind the scenes/in-progress images and blogs, subscribe to me on ScratchBang. ;D
